No, it’s not Wonder Woman or Black Widow… It’s Marvel Comics’ newest addition to the big screen: Captain Marvel. I have to appreciate the following that these movies have.

While they’re not my go to Friday night flick, when I do watch them they’re action-packed, creatively driven and sprinkled with jokes.

Because Brie Larson’s character Carol Danvers is so new, I couldn’t find many socks to sport in celebration, however, there’s plenty of other Marvel socks to get you excited about the spring reveal of this movie.

Stick with your one true love Captain America or shop a variety on Cartoon Heroes.

Pair of Thieves – FINALLY on amazon

I’ve been waiting for quite a while for this and it’s sorta kinda here. PAIR OF THIEVES IS ON AMAZON Well… only kinda. They have a few items listed, but not a ton. And only some of them ship via prime….so it’s only a small step in the right direction. I’d love to see more listed and hopefully that is the direction they are heading!

I have quite a few of their socks now, they are officially my favorite socks and as I’m writing this, I have a pair on. I wear them to work, not at work, hanging out, to play basketball or almost any sport except soccer. I even have matching pairs, yes they make mom and me or dad and me pairs, for my son and me! They are super comfy and I could go on and on about their “Sneaky Performance”, but seriously they are one of the better socks I’ve found. I’ve had my first pair for over 3 years now and still wear them, they are still holding up!! Crazy. Price wise, Target is probably cheaper since they go on sale, and pairofthieves.com has a better selection, but amazon still has a few woth checking out.

I also own both their types of underwear, their SuperFit and SuperSoft and can recommend them too! Their boxer briefs are my go to and I have some on my Christmas list! Even their undershirts are super freakin soft!!! Really I’d have more of everything they make if their prices were a little lower, so I get most on sale if I can, or wait and buy some here and there! So if you haven’t, go try some! You won’t regret it!

With the holiday season in full swing, what better stocking stuffer than…well, stockings (aka socks)? And what better socks than awesome ones? And…well you get where I’m going with this. I found some pretty awesome socks and think their packaging as well as the socks themselves would make a great holiday gift.

Socks work great as a work gift, for secret Santa gift exchanges, or even for white elephant gift exchanges. They are always needed, everyone wears them, and who doesn’t want a splash of color in their outfit? The Most Wonderful Socks of the Year

Holiday socks come in all shapes and sizes. It’s important to have comfort while shopping or running last minute errands in the slushy snow. It’s also important to have the most stylish high knee/jingle bell socks for the Christmas office party. We have a great variety from Amazon for you, your secret Santa, or any family member or friend.

Most of these picks are under $20 so you can still show some holiday spirit without spending too much. My favorite is the vintage winter socks from YZKKE because the thicker the better! They’re great for hikes, a cold night in a tent while camping or just when you don’t want to turn the heat too high. My second favorite is the Coxeer slipper/socks because my feet are almost always cold while I’m lounging around the house.

Washington Capitals Dress Socks!

Hockey season is back, thank god!  So I decide I wanted to rep my local team, who happens to be the Stanley cup winners of this past season, the Washington Capitals!!! C-A-P-S! CAPS, CAPS, CAPS!!

Went ahead and looked for some good socks and found quite a few options, and some of the better looking ones are below. There are a few knee high options, numerous unisex dress socks and some low cut socks.

I lean toward the dress socks so I ordered a pair of awesome Capitals dress socks and they’ll be here in a couple days thanks to Amazon Prime (btw they have a 30 day free trial!) I’ll be sure to post a review of them once I get them and have tried them out! I’ve never purchased this brand so hopefully they are up to snuff! The seller also has other NHL teams and the socks look pretty good – the Penguins, Leafs, Bruins, Oilers, the list goes on! I definitely recommend all NHL fans to take a look for their team. There’s nothing like sporting your team socks while in a suit or business attire.

Socks to Say I Love You!

With Valentine’s day coming up, this weeks/months pair or focus is socks that say “I Love You!”
These awesome socks are for that special someone who you want to show a little extra love by putting some socks on their feet. Reminding them every time they look down that their special someone got them a little something special! So if you have a special someone who likes to add some color to their outfit, I recommend you read on for some awesome socks. Majority of them are via Amazon Prime, so you can order now and still get them in time for V-Day, or just get them in two days for whenever you need them! A few of these socks are uni-sex while other are Men/Women’s only, but honestly you can be the judge of that.

I prefer Sheec dress socks just because they aren’t so upfront but have a nice little simplicity to them that still adds a little flair. Let me know what you think of these Valentine’s Day socks!

Sock Update – Blue Q socks

So, with no updating quite as often as weekly, we are falling back to Sock Updates or Socks of the month!! This time around we are going to go a little edgy with a new sock I found, Blue Q. They have quite a selection of awesome socks, mostly witty or short phrase dress socks or crew socks for men and women. Some are a little R-rated, eg – “It’s a beautiful day, don’t F it up!”.

There are quite a few more there too, so take a look at the men’s and women’s novelty crew socks that they offer! Blue Q has an offer that includes a sock ring that keeps your socks together!! I normally fold my socks over each other, pulling the opening down so that they stay together, but the sock ring looks pretty sweet.

It seems most of Blue Q’s Novelty socks are right 6.99 to 12.99, a few pairs might be a little higher, with some including the sock ring! Most of their socks are on Amazon Prime too! Blue Q has a few other items they sell too, ranging from messenger bags to Pee wipes to some crazy coin purses.

Sock Update: Star Wars Socks

With Star Wars Rogue One being released only a week ago, I thought another star wars sock was in order! The ones I chose were the BB-8 socks, since he’s now everyone’s favorite droid! Who doesn’t love some BB-8 action! I haven’t seen Rogue One so I’m not sure if BB-8 appears in it, but either way BB-8!!

The seller on amazon has a huge selection of Star Wars socks and I highly recommend taking a look! Looking for Chewbacca socks? They got em. Kylo Ren socks? Yep!
