It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s Superman!!
Superman socks are this weeks awesome sock of the week! As one of the classic superheros, and the release of Man of Steel last June, I felt the need to to recommend these socks. They are pretty awesome and this two pack is a good deal. One pair argyle, one pair with a cape. Can’t be beat at 19.99 total it’s only ten bucks for an awesome pair of super-hero socks!!
Now some quick superman facts!
- Superman was created by two highschool students in 1933, writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster. The two sold Superman to DC comics in 1938 and appeared in his first comic, Action Comic #1 later that year.1
- Superman has been the star of 8 movies, with many other proposed but failed.2
- The first Superman cartoon was produced by Paramount Pictures. They created 17 ten minute clips between 1941 and 1943.2
